One day workshops are based on the Norfolk & Suffolk Broads & the Norfolk & Suffolk Coast

The workshops will be aimed at all levels of photographers from beginners to experienced photographers. We will concentrate on working in the field on techniques such as exposure, metering, lens choice, camera use / techniques and filter use.

Workshop numbers will be kept to a maximum of just six participants to allow plenty of time & tuition for individuals.

Workshop dates have been carefully chosen to coincide with ideal tide times or sunrise / sunset positions. All workshops (apart from the Painting With Light Workshops) start at dawn and typically end at sunset.

Field notes to refer back to will also be available and following the workshops all guests are welcome to contact the office via email with any questions, advice or for critique on their images for an unlimited time period.

This workshop is a unique opportunity to photograph the iconic windmills of the Norfolk & Suffolk Broads. Our mode of transport throughout this outstanding course led by professional photographer Chris Herring is one of the broads largest cruisers, equipped with all the comforts of home including three toilets and fresh water showers on board.

By using this unique leisurely mode transport we are able to navigate entire area at a pace which will maximise our photographic opportunities..

The landscape of the Norfolk is unique and like no other area in the UK, the area is a rich haven for wildlife and the wonderful drainage mills / windmills along with the broads themselves both make for excellent landscape opportunities.

The workshops are aimed at discerning photographers of all levels beginners and advanced alike.

The workshops cater for all levels of experience, by ensuring that group numbers are kept to a maximum of just six participants ensures that there is lots of available time and tuition for individuals.

Dates & Prices
Three Day Workshop: Friday 9th October to Monday 12th October 2009. Price including Breakfast, Lunch & Evening Meals - £325.00 - Newly Released

Breakfast, lunch & Evening Meals are all included in the price, meals will be at a number of local pubs or restaurants along the route for the various planned locations.

Three day workshops begin on Friday afternoons and finish at 10:00 AM on Monday mornings, Parking is available at our chosen boat yard, guests can also be picked up and dropped off at Norwich Train Station or Norwich Airport free of charge. Low cost flights are available to Norwich from the following airports with Flybe: Edinburgh, Manchester, Dublin, Exeter, Jersey, Guernsey.

All workshops are strictly limited in numbers so early booking is advisable.

A non refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your place on this workshop any remaining balance is then due six weeks before the workshop date or at the time of booking if sooner than eight weeks.

One to one Tuition is structured around the client’s individual needs and is available to suit both beginners and the more experienced photographer. The day can be structured to include locations on either the Norfolk Broads, the Norfolk Coast or the Suffolk Coast.

With 100% of Chris’s attention you will quickly be able to develop and enhance your skills at your own pace throughout the day. Basic post production work of raw files and Photoshop work can also be included on the day.
