Hello and thank you for visiting my
website. This site displays only a small selection of my
Landscape, Nature & Wildlife photographs.
I first became interested in
photography in 1999 whilst studying the subject at college and continued my
interest further by assisting one of Manchester's leading Wedding photographers.
Over the next few years I continued my interest in the subject and quickly
developed my own unique style and approach to photography. I originally
began by using a Canon T70 camera to shoot B&W film and developing & printing my
results in a makeshift darkroom at home. I had brief spells shooting Provia &
Velvia slide film before moving to Digital in 2003.
Based in East Anglia, the Norfolk & Suffolk Broads and Norfolk & Suffolk
Coastline are all only a short drive away. These are the areas I most enjoy
photographing as there are so many wonderful opportunities and locations often
ignored by other landscape photographers. The Norfolk & Suffolk Broads and
the salt marshes of the North Norfolk Coast are also a haven for wildlife which
means whether I am photographing landscape or wildlife images I am never short
of subjects or locations to photograph.
I have concentrated on developing an intimate understanding of the environment
around me particularly with the Norfolk Broads and its history. Man has had a
major effect on the landscape & wildlife in this region of the UK and I am
never afraid to illustrate this in my images.
As a full time professional
photographer I have undertaken a range of photography commissions for small
local business to large world-wide businesses. I regularly have work published
in local and national magazines, I am a regular contributor of images and
articles to a number of the UK's leading photography magazines and I am quickly
gaining a reputation as one of Norfolk's most promising young photographers
specialising in landscape photography.
I enjoy photographing wild places and the wildlife that shares these natural
spaces. For me I gain more satisfaction photographing and watching wildlife and
birds in their natural environment, as such all images contained on this website
are shot in the natural habitat of the subject photographed. All of my Landscape
and Wildlife photography on this website is shot exclusively within the UK.

Forthcoming projects for 2010 include: Photographing wild birds on the
North Norfolk coast, continuing to photograph the Norfolk Broads and traditional
Norfolk scenes and photographing landscape images of Northumberland, Scotland, The Peak
District, The Lake District, Jersey and the Welsh coast and countryside.
